Medicines are dispensed either in a 90ml food grade aluminium bottle with a hygienic serum pump cap with a cap or in food grade plastic canisters of 1 litter, 2 litter, 5 litter sizes.
5 litter canisters are supplied with a dosing pump free of charge. The pump can also be purchased separately for smaller canisters.
How many servings per container?
90ml bottle = 230 servings
1 litter canister = 80 days of water trough coverage (dosing every other day) or 40 days of feed dosing (twice a day).
2 litter canister = 160 days of water trough coverage (every other day dosing) or 80 days of feed dosing (twice daily).
5 litter jerrycan = 400 days of water trough coverage (every other day dosing) or 200 days of feed dosing (twice daily)

Dosing for bottles with a pump
Apply twice a day during sunburn-prone months.
The dose consists of 2 pumps of the medicine on the tongue, gums or lips. It can also be applied to a piece of food such as a carrot.
Dosing for canisters
Water troughs – pour one cap (25 ml) or 1 pump into the water through every other day.
Feed – spray ½ cap (12ml) or ½ feeding pump twice daily.

Q: Does Sol Plus work immediately, the first day?
A: No, it takes 7-10 days for the remedy to take effect.
Q: Do I only use it on sunny days?
- Apply daily (or every other day in the water trough) until summer to maintain the effect. You do not need to dose during the winter.
Q: Can I use it on dogs or farm animals?
A: Yes, we have listings in the Pets section and the Livestock section.
Q: Does it work for photosensitivity where there is a lot of scabbing?
- We recommend using our photosensitivity support product or kit that is specifically for photosensitivity. If the scabs are related to rain scald, mold or bacteria, use our Mud & Rain product along with the photosensitivity product.
