COVID-19 UPDATE
At Men’s Health Chicago, we take the safety of our patients and staff seriously. Please note that we work in accordance with local and national guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We are doing everything we can to continue to serve your health care needs.
We understand that this situation is fluid and we will be implementing several changes in our offices with immediate effect:
New patients must call ahead to make an appointment – we will not be accepting Walk in New patients at this time.
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and/or the flu, please call our office so we can direct you to a provider who can help you further before making an appointment.
Our practice now offers telehealth, which allows us to electronically evaluate patients while protecting the safety of other patients and staff in the practice.
What Men’s Health Chicago is doing to ensure patient safety:
We have implemented a thorough screening process and have taken measures to practice proper “social distancing” to avoid close contact in our office with other patients. We have also accommodated spaces that allow us to rapidly isolate anyone with potential symptoms of the coronavirus.
Our providers and staff effectively use personal protective equipment (PPE), such as masks, gloves, goggles, and gowns, and thoroughly clean our offices with EPA-approved products daily.
Tips to prevent the spread of disease”:
Do not touch eyes, nose and mouth
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
Avoid close contact and practice “social distancing” – 6 feet apart
If tissue is not available, use the inside of the elbow
Disinfect surfaces as much as possible, the main touch points of your home/office
STAY HOME if you are sick
We encourage everyone to continue to follow CDC and IDPH guidelines and wish everyone to stay safe and healthy during this time.
WE DO!
At Men’s Health Chicago, located in four convenient locations in The Loop in downtown Chicago, Schaumburg, Naperville and Barrington Illinois, we are not your typical internal medicine/adult primary care office. Because we designed our practice with a focus on men’s health, we knew we had to provide our community and patients with a facility and team that was able to follow through, rather than simply “sign it and forget it.” At MHC, we practice what we call “Head coach medicine,” which means our practitioners will stand with you from start to finish and help you call plays instead of just handing you over and forgetting about you. We now offer custom joint manipulation and physical therapy along with other modalities to treat musculoskeletal injuries; this way, your doctor can constantly assess your progress and adjust treatment plans in real time; most practices refer to physical therapy facilities and do not see the patient again until treatment is complete, often resulting in overtreatment or sometimes undertreatment.
Follow
Our patients tell us that one of the things they love about our office is the personal attention and follow-up we give them. Even if we have to refer you to a specialist, we’ll make sure we stay up-to-date and help you understand the often-confusing health care process. The primary goal is prevention and early detection of the disease. With an experienced staff of medical professionals who specialize in internal medicine, Men’s Health Chicago treats a variety of ailments and diseases for all patients with a focus on men’s health and wellness.
Men’s Health Chicago has four convenient locations in The Loop in downtown Chicago, Schaumburg, Naperville and Barrington Illinois that provide a friendly and relaxed environment designed to make patients feel as comfortable as possible. The team at Men’s Health Chicago works with each patient individually to provide the most comprehensive care possible in disease management, treatment and prevention, enabling patients to lead happy and healthy lives.
As internists, the health professionals at Men’s Health Chicago understand how the male body works as a whole and can identify and treat disease and illness through a broad approach. By understanding how every component of the human body works together, Men’s Health Chicago provides effective and lasting medical treatment – we aim to treat the cause of your condition, not just chase/suppress the symptoms.
To take care of your health, call one of the three offices or make an appointment online.
