Plano International Health Festival and Fair
North Texas’ largest and longest-running event celebrating cultures around the world, the 15th annual Plano International Festival takes place on October 12th from 11am to 5pm at Haggard Park. Passionate about diversity and inclusion, the all-volunteer event features food, music, dance, exhibits and science activities that bring the community together and promote communication and understanding between cultural groups.
The fitness and wellness fair takes place in the adjacent Courtyard Theatre and Cox Playhouse from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with flu shots for adults and flu mists for children, free screenings for blood pressure, diabetes, bone density, BMI, cholesterol, HIV and more. There will be dental and vision screenings for babies as young as 6 months and pre-screening for qualified women to receive free mammograms later. The fair includes massages, CPR demonstrations and lessons on healthy eating, poison prevention, breastfeeding support, free home repairs, affordable health services for children, stroke symptoms, cancer education and more.
In addition to a comprehensive waste reduction program, the festival has eco-friendly live exhibits, zero-waste living tips and eco-friendly children’s crafts.

The Plano Symphony Orchestra pairs with local dance groups to bring a multicultural performance to life! Specially arranged string ensemble music plays alongside dances such as Ballet, Irish Dance, Ballet Folkloric and more!
